Thanks to the Fun and Food project we were able to provide some exciting events for children in the local community over the Christmas holidays.

On the 27th December 2023 we enjoyed a visit from The Grinch! Although he can be a little scary for some of the younger children, our Grinch proved very popular with party goers.

On the 20th December we enjoyed a Christmas Disco with a very special visitor!

One parent commented, “Another fabulous day put on for the kids and they all loved it thank u so much for all yous do.”

We would like to thank Fun and Food County Durham for enabling us to offer these and other activities and events.

Durham County Council’s ‘Fun and Food’ Programme provides FREE holiday activities with healthy food and meals for children and young people in County Durham. Activities are provided by schools, voluntary and community sector groups, sport and leisure services, our Family Centres and other partners including Shotton Community Hub.
