Greggs Foundation Award Grant to Shotton Partnership

We are delighted to announce that Shotton Partnership has been awarded £20,000 over 3 years which will enable us to continue and expand the community work we do. The Greggs Foundation is a grant-giving organisation aiming to improve the health and wellbeing of people living in the communities where Greggs operates. They believe lasting change occurs when communities can grow sustainably from within. Representatives from the Greggs Foundation visited the hub and were impressed with the work we already do.

The funding of £20,000 a year for 3 years, will allow us to develop a medium to long term strategy for sustainability.

We have seen increased numbers of service users tap into the support we provide, due to the current economic climate and associated cost of living crisis. We provide a range of services for over 400 visitor every week from the youngest to the oldest in our community.

Activities and events are planned throughout the year giving families, youth groups and older members of our community, things to enjoy and look forward to.

The funding from Greggs will help the sustainability of our services as it is over a 3 year period.

We would like to thank all of our funders and supporters.
