Our Halloween half term saw our children collect Arts & Crafts with Lunchboxes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
We delivered a pumpkin carving workshop for families to carve pumpkins together on the Thursday and food was provided.
Our youth sessions carved pumpkins on Monday and told their own spooky Halloween stories, which they wrote, on Tuesday. They also had food at the end of the session.
The Mother’s & Toddler’s group dressed up in Halloween clothes, carved pumpkins, played games and eat their packed lunches together.
There was a Halloween Treasure Hunt throughout the week. People went around the village looking for spooky Halloween pictures in shop windows. They recorded them on their sheet and brought them back to the Hub once complete.
To end the week there was a Halloween trail which commenced on the Friday. Families came to the Hub to collect activity packs and hot chocolate. They then set off on their trail with a map of Shotton to show they Halloween decorated houses around village. The Hub was decorated with lots of spooky Halloween ghosts, pumpkins, spiders etc. for when people entered the Hub.
What a fantastic Halloween Half Term.
