The brand new Shotton Youth Centre, (SYC), was officially opened on Wednesday 29th May. And it was, quite rightly, the young people who had steered the project from the start, who cut the ribbon.  This beautiful new building will provide all of the young people of Shotton with a centre in which they can take part in activities, enjoy spending time with their mates, attend youth sessions or simply chill out.

On Saturday 1st June the entire community is invited to attend the opening. With activities, refreshments and the chance to have a look round the new SYC is open from 12noon until 4pm.
