What fun we had during the 6 weeks holiday with lots of things going on at the Hub. Children collected lunchboxes with arts & crafts every Monday, Wednesday & Friday, which were funded by East Durham Area Action Partnership’s Fun & Food.  

We had picnics in the garden which included races, circus themes, food and arts & crafts. Families took picnic blankets and enjoyed the sunshine. The children played games and the day finished with a picnic for all. 

The Barn at Easington delivered 2 workshops. The first was Flag Making Workshop. The flags hang up at our Mini Durham Miners Gala event. The second was our Clay Making Workshop. They used the tiles as part of a project. 

We ended the 6 weeks with a party for all the children with entertainment, bouncy castle, candy floss, face painting, food and goodie bags to take away.  

Our 6 weeks holiday created lots of fun for everyone.
