Come along and join us in the official opening and launch of the new Youth Centre.

The brand new Youth Centre in Shotton Community Park is ready for use.This project is a joint venture between Shotton Parish Council and Shotton Partnership 2000 Ltd., who secured funding of £1.3million from the Department of Culture, Media & Sport through the National Youth Investment Fund.  The facility has been designed specifically to meet the needs of the 11+ age group and the services and activities will be developed in consultation with our local young people.

After the official launch on Wednesday 29th May the centre is being opened to the community on Saturday 1st June from 12noon until 4pm, so you can all have a look around and enjoy some of the free activities taking place.
